Today the first group: Alpine, Psyche, Grazer, Turtle and Indiana took off. They left later than they wanted. Alpine’s group left today because Alpine found out Pro, one of her original trail family, is able to meet in Lone Pine on a timetable.
I tried my best to join them but all the washing machines have been in use so my chores didn’t get done. I was finally able to be ready at 1:30pm and it was just too late. I didn’t want to start an 18 mile day in the afternoon when I’d have to be up at 2am the next day.
I’ll be leaving early tomorrow morning with Raspberry, Propeller, and Crispy.
